Establishment
In 1986, Alok Industries Limited set up a first polyester texturising plant. In 1993, the company became a public limited company. Alok Industries Limited expanded business into weaving, knitting, processing, home textiles and garments and to ensure quality and cost efficiencies have integrated backward into cotton spinning and manufacturing partially oriented yarn through the continuous polymerisation route. The company also provide embroidered products through Grabal Alok Impex Ltd., our associate company. The company has a strong foothold in the domestic retail segment through a wholly owned subsidiary, Alok H&A Limited, offer garments and home textiles at attractive price points. It also has an international presence in the retail segment through its associate concern, Grabal Alok (UK) Limited.

Alok Industries Limited founded by Surendra Bhagirathmal Jiwrajka. He was born at Mumbai, Maharashtra. He was very talented and started his career as a managing director and Executive Director at Grabal Alok Impex Ltd. Jiwrajka is also on the board of 29 other companies.
