Marc Tarpenning is an American entrepreneur and born on 1964 at Sacramento, California, US. He studied in University of California, Berkeley. After graduating from Berkeley, he started worked for Textron in Saudi Arabia. In 1997, Tarpenning and Martin Eberhard founded NuvoMedia, a company that built an early e-book, the RocketBook.
