MTS India was established in December, 2008. On 14 January, 2016, the company was acquired by Reliance Communications. MTS provided the telecom services in each and every corner of India. But supreme court of India had cancelled its licence. Then MTS present in 9 circles out of 22 telecom circles. On 31st October, 2017, SSTL was merged with Reliance Communications.
