MTS India was established in December, 2008. On 14 January, 2016, the company was acquired by Reliance Communications. MTS provided the telecom services in each and every corner of India. Journey
MTS India provided voice service, data service, broadband, internet, SMS in India. It was one of the largest telecom industry in India. In 2008, Sistema merged with India’s Shyam Group to form Sistema Shyam Teleservices limited(SSTL). In March, 2009, SSTL launched MTS India brand in Tamil Nadu. But supreme court of India had cancelled its licence. Then MTS present in 9 circles out of 22 telecom circles. On 31st October, 2017, SSTL was merged with Reliance Communications.
