Establishment
Balrampur Chini mills limited established in 1975. It is the second largest sugar manufacturing industry in India with a significant strength in the manufacture of downstream products like power and ethanol. In 1975, the business with a cane crushing capacity of 800 tonnes per day, subsequently expanded its capacity to 1200 tonnes per day.
In 1990, BCML acquired Babhnan Sugar mill limited and increase cane cane crushing capacity to 2,500 tonnes per day. BCML acquired Tulsipur Sugar Company limited in 1998. In 2003, the company set up a plant at Haidergarh with a crushing capacity 4000 tonnes in a day and a bagasse power plant. In 2007, BCML set up a greenfield sugar complex at Gularia with a crushing capacity of 8000 tonnes per day. BCML acquired Indo Gulf Industries in 2007. The company always provide best quality sugar in country.
Founder
Balram Chini mills Limited founded by Shri Kamal Nayan Saraogi in 1975. He is commerce graduate. Saraogi has wide experience in the sugar industry. He married to Meenakshi Saraogi, an arts graduate. She is a chief mentor in the company and was also awarded for Padma Shri in 1992.
