Saertex established in 1982 by Bruno Lammers and Gert Wagener. It is a family-owned business. Saertex has 15 sites on 5 continents and Customer service in more than 50 countries. Th company mission is to make the continuous reduction of global resources consumption possible. Currently, the CEO of the company is Christoph Geyer.
Services
- Engineering Support: SAERTEX provides its customers with support throughout all phases of the value added chain – with engineering support as well, if required. The engineers will deliver support for your engineering work. The strengths lie in parts that were previously made of metallic materials but will be manufactured from plastic-reinforced materials in the future.
- Performing: SAERTEX also provides significant added value for the customers by producing, upon request, two or three-dimensional preforms made of non-crimp fabrics. The company employ special cutting, stitching and binder fixation technologies – proven processes which we individually tailor to the requirements of customers’ products.
- Laboratory testing: The SAERTEX testing laboratory for non-metallic materials has been certified by Germanischer Lloyd (GL) since 2013. Employees, facilities and procedures have been approved to GL standards for testing fibre-reinforced plastics. The available tests are not limited to static analyses such as tension, bending and ILSS testing – it is also possible to conduct fatigue tests, measure the fibre resin content and analyse the drapability data of NCFs.
- Cutting-Kitting: According to your specifications and on the basis of individual CAD drawings, the company will precisely pre-cut the respective shapes using cutting machine, so that they are available to you for direct further processing. At SAERTEX there is no “waste”.
