Founder
Pidilite Industries Limited founded by Balvantray Kalyanji Parekh. He was born on 1925 at Bhavnagar, Gujarat, India. He was an Indian entrepreneur and the founder of the company. Parekh did Law from Government Law College, Mumbai. He started his own business with the investor Mohan and started importing cycle, areca nut, paper dyes from western countries. In 1954, he started trading and manufacturing of dye and industrial chemicals, pigment emulsions in 1959, the company was renamed as Pidilite Industries Limited.
Parekh married to Kantaben and blessed with two children Madhukar Parekh and Ajay Parekh. On 2013, he died. Currently, his son Madhukar Parekh is the chairman of the company.
