History
Dynacraft BSC, Inc., which was founded in 1984 and moved to San Rafael, California in 1998 before settling in American Canyon, California, imports and distributes a wide range of bicycles, scooters, electric ride-ons, and battery-operated ride-ons for major retailers in the United States, including toy, department, sporting goods, and mass merchandise chains.
The company sells its products both online and through retailers. In June 2004, the company changed its name to Dynacraft BSC, Inc., from Dynacraft Industries.
In 2006, Dynacraft released the Dekra chainless bicycle, one of the first of its kind. This was followed by the Sonoma Chainless Bicycle Collection in 2009, featuring the innovative Chainless D-Drive system. The design takes advantage of the drive shaft to transmit power from the pedals to the rear wheel instead of the traditional bicycle chain. This means less maintenance, a cleaner drive, and increased safety and longevity of the bike. Additionally, the ergonomic upright design decreases strain on the lower back while offering a comfortable ride experience for adults.
