Unacademy is established in 2015. It started as a YouTube channel. It is paid learning service. The company providing education online and LIVE session for the users. It is one of the famous educational sector in Indian economy. The company provide many sources like UPSC, CAT, JEE Main, NTA-UGC NET, and many more. In 2018, Unacademy acquired Wifistudy. Unacademy founded by Gaurav Munjal, Roman Saini and Hemesh Singh. Gaurav Munjal is an Indian entrepreneur and founder of Unacademy. In 2008,  he did B.Tech from NMIMS University. In 2010, he did a job in Metacube as a summer intern. Recently he is running Unacademy as a Chief Executive Officer.

Roman Saini is an Indian entrepreneur and the co-founder of the company. He did M.B.B.S from All India Institute of Medical Science, New Delhi. Saini worked as junior resident at national drug dependence treatment centre. He is very creative and innovative person. Another co-founder of this company is Hemesh singh. In 2009, he did B.Tech from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology. In 2014, he joined flatchat as a CTO. They three together make Unacademy successful.
